One of the things I’ve wanted to do for a long time is put together a basics program, eCourse or digital guide to End Times Basics.
Something anyone can pick up and start learning from. Even someone that knows nothing at all about the End Times.
I will in the process reveal more about what my views are, but I don’t want it to be only useful to those that parallel my views. I want it to also reference other ideas or resources for more information.
What’s exciting about doing this in the Blog format is all my forum members can also reference this blog to talk about the different subjects I cover. It can also be dynamic. Something I can add to over time or reference posts in the End Times Forum.
This blog enables me to categorize things in all kinds of different ways… I think it can grow to be a great reference.
I’m not a scholar. I have studied the Lords word for many, many years… I only found an interest in the End Times these last few years… I feel I’ve been called to focus on the Last Days and help others learn about what’s in store for the world…
I am letting the Lord guide me… I’m putting all my trust in Him in that he will light the way for me. I do not know everything, but you can come along with me on my journey and we can read, learn and experience the scriptures together.
The Lord knows my struggles… Mostly with time. I want so much to spend more time than I do helping and guiding others in the ways of Christ… lifting Christians up and leading more to Christ. Hopefully this blog will help me in that area…
…and I will not let Him down. Whatever my struggles are, His were far greater. Thank you Jesus for dieing on the Cross… for bearing the burden so all our sins would be forgiven.
God Bless all of you. Much more to come…

Like the blog, matt. You admit things most forum / website Christians don’t, ie; you’re not a scholar, you’re letting the Lord guide you, and that you’re not a know-it-all.
Will be a great reference!
God Bless

Matt,
Wow. When I got to your End Times Basics series I was encouraged, not only by what you wrote there but that I found someone else ‘out there in cyberspace’ who is felt led by the Lord to explore the End Times from a layman’s perspective.
I enjoyed reading your first four lessons. Keep it up. I, too, have embarked on a similar effort to explore prophecy from a layman’s perspective, and share what I’ve learned on my web page. It’s so encouraging to see others doing the same (I count you as ‘others’, as I hope to find others beside you and I who are so engaged).
I, too, began writing on the subject in March ‘06, and my efforts have evolved into a manuscript, parts of which I’ve started to post on my page. If you know of anyone else so engaged, please inform me.
Keep up the good work. I’ll check back regularly to read more of your entries.
Yours in Christ,
jim bowling
