My Thoughts on the State of Things and Changes to Be Made
For those of you that are new to this forum, we do have a divided house. And part of this is due to the fact that I tried to keep the discussions of this forum for the past 3 years as open as possible.
I wanted it to be a learning environment… a way to tap into what others believe to challenge and strengthen our own beliefs.
I didn’t want to be like other forums and ban certain views. But… maybe in the end they knew something I didn’t at the time. That this model is dangerous and doesn’t work.
With this freedom has come a divided house. And because of the conflicts this has caused I have to change the way we approach things here.
Hopefully for the better!! 
What those changes will be will be revealed soon enough. In the meantime, stay tuned.

I, too, have been of late concerned about the direction we have been going in this forum. Too much debate over esoteric, even unimportant issues. Too much divisiveness. Not enough helpfulness on matters that really matter.
It’s one thing to express an opinion or raise a topic for discussion. It’s another to bicker and bite over opinions and topics. Why can’t we just express our opinions, be open to the opinions of others, and agree to disagree where we cannot reach consensus?
This forum has been a real blessing to me. You have been a real blessing to me. I know I haven’t told you this often enough, but God bless you, Brother Matt, for the wonderful forum you have created and work so hard to maintain.
I have made some really great friends here, and I have received so much help from really caring Christian people. I have had opportunities to learn new things, question (and defend) my faith, and exercise my God-given commandment to teach the Gospel of Christ to a lost world. I have had opportunities to discuss faith and religion with atheists and Muslims. I have communicated the Gospel to unbelievers around the world. I have, through this forum, traveled via the Internet further with the message of salvation and regeneration by faith through Christ than did Christ or even Paul when they walked the earth. And I owe it all to you, Brother Matt. God has richly blessed me through you and the forum you created and maintain.
Brother Matt, and please do not be discouraged. We depend on you to fulfill our Christian potential through this forum. Keep the faith, and keep up the good work. God has blessed us through you, and He keeps accurate accounts.

It certainly great to hear that you have received many blessings from this forum community.
I don’t want to break apart what we’ve worked so hard to build here.. that’s why I move at a snails pace.
I hope to roll out some new ideas for the new year.. we’ll see if they help.

I personally would much rather be discussing pertinent issues to the end times, rather than arguing doctrine. However, I have taken it upon myself - as a watchdog in your interest - to argue doctrine because it has been impossible to gain a comfortable “footing” here when you must defend your every post against fringe fanatics who have been using the forum as their personal pulpit to preach their cultic views.
I welcome the changes that you will be making to the forum with open arms, matt, and want to officially encourage you to do so. I wish to see this site succeed, and believe that it will, even though your changes may curtail many of those same “fringe fanatics” who visit the site and would have joined as members, had they had an opportunity to do so.
In the meantime, I would like to say that you have been an inspiration to everyone’s Christian Faith. You are to be commended for your unwavering labor of love, and I personally thank you for providing a place whereby I can learn, and progress, towards true end time understanding. I have learned alot thanks to you and your efforts to this site, and I hope to continue to do so, without having to constantly defend my faith.
